We drove out of the park on Monday to visit the historic town of Terlingua; which was about an hour and a half from our camp. This town is known for its rough, off the grid vibe that seems to attract strange souls. The town was originally a mining town that prospered in the early 1900's. I will post many of the photos from the town in the Big Bend section of this site.

On the way back from Terlingua we stopped at the Hot Springs close to our campsites. It was a rough and winding road that took us along some steep cliffs.
